Learn more about Coastline Recycling, a local, family-owned and operated business specializing in confidential document shredding on the Sunshine Coast. Our team is made up of husband-and-wife duo Soma and Derek Myers, who took over the business in 2021.

We are dedicated to providing top-quality and reliable shredding services for our community, and take great pride in the level of care and attention we give to each and every customer. Being as we are both community oriented people, it brings us great joy to be able to help support local people and businesses.

We love that our business allows us to see so much of our beautiful Coast and meet many new people. You will usually catch us working hard with smiles on our faces.

When we’re not busy running the business, we are kept busy chasing after our baby Iya, and our dog Jasper.

The History of Coastline Recycling

Monica Petreny and Steve Porter began Coastline Recycling in 1997 as a residential curbside paper collection service. Next came business clients, which grew into a need for confidential document shredding in 2005. We owe our success to loyal customers who we gratefully continue serving to this day!
